CHALLENGE
The primary goal of the Peekage mob app is that users could complete surveys and gain coins to get free samples, which seems hard to understand according to users' drop off.
I want to explore how to make the onboarding process more clear and simple for users.
PROCESS
Peekage was looking to get their next round of funding and had to prove that their product could scale outside of Canada. I redesign the app in order to reduce the user drop off and create a smooth experience.

Learning from the competition
After doing the onboarding process myself and talking with current Peekage users, I realized I needed to learn from the fuller experiences competitors offered.
I tested out the most similar services to Peekage Sampler, Perksy and Sample Source. The biggest problems I encountered were there was a lack of communication and trust between sampling service and user.

User flow
I began by mapping out the "ultimate" experience for the user through user journey and wireframes which allowed for deeper discussions on what was feasible from an engineering, hardware, and our budget standpoint.

SOLUTION
To solve the problem and make the journey easier for the user, I designed an interactive onboarding process with a popup screen as a tutorial to show the user how to do this part. Which simply explains how the app works and walks the user through the first action.
The user has done the path once, he/she is quite familiar with the app and know how to complete coming packs.
As a result, the user drop-down number has decreased and the packs got completed easier & faster.
